Kei Araki is a textile artist who weaves the colours and shapes of everyday life into fabric using the tsudzure-ori tapestry technique.

We start by looking at Araki's work together, then she guides you hands-on as you weave a small textile piece of your choice — a keychain or a coaster. Yours to take home.

During the exhibition period, Araki's work is on display at the studio. Some pieces are available to purchase.

織物作家・アラキケイさんのワークショップです。アラキさんは綴れ織りという技法で、日常の中で見つけた色や形を布に織り込んでいく作家です。

アラキさんに直接教えてもらいながら、キーホルダーまたはコースターのどちらかお好きな小さな織物を織り、完成した作品はお持ち帰りいただけます。

開催期間中はスタジオでアラキさんの展示も同時開催。作品の一部はご購入いただけます。
