Visited HUB Islington
Currently Kyoko moved to London from Tokyo for few years plan and just started to find better place to work than home.
Yesterday, Kyoko visited HUB Islington with Lucinda (Collaboration designer for Folded Paper and Stripe series) at 3 min walk from Angel station.
What’s HUB?
The HUB is home to a friendly and dynamic community of social entrepreneurs and innovative start-ups. Now a global movement with over 30 co-working spaces and 5,000 members across five continents, HUB Islington is where it all began.
It was nice friendly atmosphere yet very innovative, challenging place for co-workers.
We also visited British textile designer Tamasyn Gambell
Studio at Cockpit Yard, Clerkenwell to select cushions for Kyoko’s new house. Her textiles are all handmade in U.K and the patterns are beautiful.
Along the way from her studio to Angel, we found cool stationery shop called Present & Correct
We had nice chat for next launch furoshiki design (2014 Winter) at London’s hidden cafe and streets.
